Product Description
Ocean is a new spider plant with more white in the leaves and white flowers on long stems that seem to dance in the air.
Spider Plants make excellent house plants or indoor plants as they are not only such easy-growing plants but have beneficial properties in cleansing the air of pollutants, especially formaldehyde and carbon monoxide. As it tolerates artificial lighting very well and has air purifying abilities, it's most ideal in office environment where electronic pollutants are emitted.
Requires bright light or filtered sunlight for best growth and vibrant leaf colors. Never locate Spider Plants in full sun that will scorch their foliage. Remove yellow or dried leaves to keep it tidy. Fertilize sparingly as excess nutrients can retard its ability to produce more plantlets.

Fantastic!

I ordered 2 of these because I thought they would be small. They're not small, they are a nice size & very healthy. I wanted to make 1 nice hanging pot and instead I have 2. I am very pleased. Everything that I have recieved from Hirt's is beautiful!

arrived diseased and infested with bugs

When I opened the box bugs flew out, the plant had a root rot problem which is slowly killing it.
I would never order from this company again. This was extremely depressing to have to watch this plant die when it obviously came from a worse place.

I HAVE BOUGHT SIX PLANTS FROM HIRTS GARDENS. ONE WAS INFESTED WITH MEALY BUGS & THRIPS, 2 WERE SENT BENT ,BROKEN DUE TO NOT PACKING THE PLANT CORRECTLY, MOST OF THEM HAD BROWN DRY LEAVES AND EVEN LEAF SPOTS. IVE POSTED THIS REVIEW BEFORE AND I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM HIRTS STATING PLEASE REMOVE MY REVIEW CAUSE IT HURTS THERE BUSINESS, I WASNT EVEN OFFERED AN APOLOGY ON ANY OF THE ISSUES. THEN I NOTICE THAT HIRTS SOME HOW HAS DELETED ALL OF THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON SOME PLANTS THAT I POSTED BUT HAVE NOT DELETED THE POSITIVE COMMENTS ON THE OTHER PLANTS. SO THIS IS WHY THEY HAVE SO MANY FIVE STARS BECAUSE THEY ARE TAKING OUT THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS WE AS CUSTOMERS POST. (VERY DISHONEST OF HIRTS GARDEN)
